To be successful you will need an excellent knowledge of Employment Law and have experience dealing with Employee Relations to enable you to support the Operational side of the business. You’ll be advising on investigations, performance management, absence management, and managing disciplinary and grievance cases.   • Full case management of ER issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, short- and long-term sickness absence and individuals on medical restrictions
  • Liaison with all relevant stakeholders within the business including management at all levels, , occupational health, Union and other teams as appropriate
  • Dealing and responding proactively and efficiently to various HR queries
  • Recruitment, selection and coordination
  • Using HRIS (Oracle) to access, input, compile, and review data
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and updating HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation and best practice
  • Coaching and supporting managers and other members on the HR team
  • Supporting local, regional and global HR projects and initiatives
  • Identifying and addressing training and development needs of your client base

  • CIPD qualified or have comparable experience

You will have:
  • Proven work experience as an HR advisor or similar role within an operational environment
  • Experience working with Unions is advantageous
  • A solid understanding of working with Occupational Health
  • Strong communication and English skills
  • Attention to detail and organised
  • In depth understanding and experience handling employee relations matters
  • Previous experience in developing strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience working in an operational environment
  • Experience managing complex ER cases
  • An affirmed understanding regarding CIPD best practice and UK employment legislation
  • Experience working across the full employee lifecycle
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
