Strategic Human Resources Consultant

Compensation: £44,000 to £54,000 annually

Burman Recruitment is seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Consultant to join our esteemed public sector client. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to various departments, delivering expert HR support and guidance. This role is pivotal in advancing HR initiatives that are in harmony with the broader organizational strategy, promoting a constructive workplace culture, and enhancing overall performance.

Strategic HR Collaboration:

  • Act as a strategic collaborator with departmental leaders, comprehending their operational needs and offering HR solutions that facilitate their goals.
  • Design and execute HR strategies and initiatives that are in sync with the overarching business objectives.
  • Provide specialized HR counsel and assistance to both management and staff on a diverse array of HR matters.

Workplace Relations:

  • Promote a constructive work atmosphere by addressing employee issues and mediating conflicts.
  • Support the rollout of employee engagement programs aimed at boosting workplace morale and efficiency.
  • Conduct inquiries and oversee disciplinary actions as necessary.

Talent Development:

  • Assist in recruitment processes by partnering with hiring managers to ascertain staffing requirements and devise effective recruitment strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of talent development initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and employee training.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance employee skills and competencies.

Organizational Enhancement:

  • Support the design and implementation of organizational development projects aimed at improving business outcomes and employee satisfaction.
  • Assist in change management initiatives to ensure seamless transitions during organizational shifts.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on effective leadership and team-building techniques.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations at all levels.
  • Develop and revise HR policies and procedures to align with current best practices and legal standards.
  • Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with policies and identify opportunities for enhancement.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Gather and analyze HR data to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present HR reports to senior leadership, emphasizing key metrics and insights.
  • Monitor and report on workforce analytics, including turnover rates, employee engagement, and performance indicators.
