Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Howdens Joinery. As an HR Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Manufacturing Supply Operations and providing expert advice on employee relations, recruitment, development, and strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to operational teams on HR policies and procedures.
- Deliver training to first-line managers on HR best practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies.
- Conduct analysis of MI to inform business decisions.
- Provide advice on HR-related matters, utilizing subject matter experts as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience working within an HR operational environment.
- Ability to deliver training to first-line managers on HR policies/procedures.
- Experience working in a partnering capacity in a fast-paced HR team.
- Able to provide advice to stakeholders in a considered manner.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of HR practice and current employment legislation.
- Analysis of MI to inform business decisions, together with sound IT skills.
