The LNG Operations team in London is hiring an LNG Shipping Operator to manage a global fleet of chartered LNG tankers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Post-fixture tasks including port agency, bunker procurement, voyage orders, heel management, shipping invoice settlements, ship-shore compatibility coordination, performance monitoring, and shipping claims management.
  • Voyage evaluation and planning, fuel management.
  • Communication with vessels, vessel owners/operators, counterparties and terminals, and other shipping stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the wider LNG Team as well as Settlements and other functions across the organization.
  • Support of the Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) and interaction with Back Office teams globally.

Skills & Competencies

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in Maritime Studies
  • Strong understanding of shipping technology and commercial issues
  • LNG shipping experience
  • Sea-going experience on tanker vessels preferred
