**About Us**

By way of background, Angola LNG Project is the result of a partnership between Sonangol, Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited (Chevron´s affiliate in Angola - hereinafter described as “Chevron”), TotalEnergies, Azule Energy Angola Production B.V., and Azule Energy Exploration (Angola) Ltd (formerly Eni Production Angola B.V. and bp Exploration Angola Ltd), to gather and process gas and deliver up to 5.2 million tons of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) per year to the global market.

Different companies manage Angola LNG’s project value chain through service agreements to Angola LNG Limited (the investor company; it owns all assets, acquires gas, sells LNG and liquids, and supplies domestic gas). This role is for Angola LNG Marketing Ltd (“ALM”) in London. ALM ‍is responsible for conducting LNG marketing activities and LNG and Liquids sales operations on behalf of ALNG, and managing the ALNG´s brand and all external communications.

**Overview of the role**

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Angola LNG Marketing Ltd as a Marine Operations Coordinator on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the voyages of all vessels chartered by ALSS.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, including cargo operations, marine department managers, and vessel owners, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of our LNG cargoes. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of maritime operations.

**Requirements**:
**Your main responsibilities**:

- Assess vessel Vetting status' on behalf of ALSS and coordinate vessel Vetting clearances by LNG terminals and cargo buyers.
- Carry out Marine Assurance reviews and prepare reports for management.
- Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the fleet.
- Support the preparation and review of budgets, costs and ALSS Annual Shipping Plan.
- Supporting the LNG cargo tendering process as necessary.
- Monitor operational performance of the fleet.
- Conducting investigations and assuring satisfactory close-out of incident reports.
- Providing regular reporting on marine operational activities.
- Monitor that crew numbers onboard and crew changes are managed in a cost-efficient way by the vessel operators within the contractual framework of the TCPs.
- Ensure operational costs are managed by the vessel operators within the contractual framework of the TCPs.
- Provide regular reports on operations activities.

**Personal Attributes & Skills**
- Three to six years’ experience in a broad range of nautical and technical aspects of vessel, port and terminal operations including LNG vessel operations
- Commercial experience including voyage economics, chartering terms and practices, logistics & trading, etc.
- Experience of Joint Venture is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent working style with attention to detail and high standards for quality
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- You have a passion for results and are able to deliver from end to end in a fast paced environment
- You’re comfortable working from the London office three days a week
