Principal Estimator - Permanent - Derby - Tier 1 Contractor - Major Water Framework - Hybrid Working - Civils

Your new company
You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they are currently working on clean water and wastewater schemes valued up to £6m. This contractor offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Principal Estimator to join their team.

Your new role
As Principal Estimator you will be based in their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to, attending project start-up meetings and attending site visits, identifying tender deliverables, preparing commercial submission and tender handover documentation, reviewing and checking contract documentation as well as attending tender price settlement meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have proven successful estimating experience in the water and/or utilities sectors and be able to estimate from first principles. In addition, you will be well-versed with NEC form of contracts and CDM regulations and be experienced in managing others (including estimators). Finally, previous experience working on large design and build infrastructure contracts is highly favourable.
