Reports to: Lead Project Manager
Job Purpose:
As a Project Manager at Integral UK Ltd, you will be responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects for various Rolls-Royce sites. You will ensure that the projects are delivered to meet Integral & Rolls Royce's standards in regard to health, safety, quality, cost, and programme, while complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18 and CSO6 Rolls Royce standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of projects with potential values between £50k to £15m, across various Rolls Royce sites in Derby and the Midlands.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the requirements of the NEC3 Framework Contract and meet the agreed contract programme.
- Provide Health and Safety leadership to site delivery teams, promoting behavioural safety improvements, and ensuring suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures.
- Support the project risk management process and establish effective controls to ensure the safe and timely delivery of projects.
- Play an active lead in the production and risk management of quotations and estimates.
- Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at project level.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development support to direct reports and trainees.
- Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable, economic, and constructable designs are produced.
- Support project opportunities to realise, maintain, and improve commercial project performance.
- Liaise with Rolls Royce Project Managers to ensure projects are managed in compliance with MS18, CS06, and the current delivery programme and cost plan.
- Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free, and post-completion deliverables such as final accounts and Operation & Maintenance information are delivered within contracted timescales.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the role of a Project Manager within the building/construction/building service industries.
- Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses.
- Experience in the use of NEC3 Contracts.
- Experience of managing health and safety procedures and knowledge of H&S standards/regulations across multiple sites.
- Experience in the preparation of quotations and estimates.
- Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers' business requirements.
- City & Guilds /NVQ (or equivalent) construction-related qualification.
- SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid.
- Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office, Fieldview or similar tablet-based quality assurance software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level organisational ability along with time management skills to drive and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken, able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solve.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service, demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness, and flexibility.
