Work with us and we’ll welcome you into an inclusive culture, one that invests in your continuous learning and development, and gives you access to a wide breadth and depth of experience.

We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.

Your needs are as unique as you are. We encourage flexible working arrangements and support hybrid working wherever possible, so you can always be at your best - wherever and whenever you work.

  • Driving the effectiveness of the HR delivery model through working collaboratively across the business and utilising Group Business Services (GBS)
  • Leading and supporting global and local projects, or components of projects, in particular organisational design and change programmes
  • Bringing challenge and perspective to the business agenda, particularly ensuring solid succession plans, talent development and an environment that allows people to be at their best
  • Advising, guiding and coaching leaders on their people responsibilities, leadership behaviours and complex people issues
  • Driving the effectiveness of the HR delivery model; guide-line managers to obtain support from the right areas; maintain a strong partnership with other HR service delivery teams.
  • Providing effective employee relations advice and promote a positive working climate, closely working with union representatives, line management and with the Central ER and case management teams
  • Ensuring the development of a Strategic Workforce Planning plan to support the business strategy and plan
  • Providing employee/workforce development by directing leaders to appropriate learning solutions or by identifying new learning needs to Learning Services.
  • Supporting recruitment activity by ensuring vacancies are defined, graded and approved and line-managers directed to the appropriate resourcing services. Ensure Headcount planning is robust and tracked.
  • Identifying gaps and improvements in local HR service provision in line with HR strategy, suggesting initiatives for the local agenda where appropriate.
  • Leading within the PP team on key policy/processes where needed.

Who we are looking for:

Being a part of Rolls-Royce you’ll know we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. These principles form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.

  • Broad HR experience. In depth knowledge of the HR function and its capability to support business objectives.
  • Broad knowledge of the HR best practice across Employee Relations, Reward, Resourcing, Talent and Development, Coaching, Leadership and Employment Law.
  • Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills and senior levels and across functions.
  • Broad change management skill set, combined with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organisational change
  • Experience using Organisation Development to enhance business/organisational performance
  • Ability to analyse and challenge business strategy and develop people implications
  • Ability to coach senior leaders and their teams to deliver business strategy and drive performance and capability improvement within their teams
  • Sensitive to language and cultural differences
  • Continual commitment to personal learning, demonstrated ability to build on learning and share within the broader HR function

We are an equal opportunities employer. We’re committed to developing a diverse workforce and an inclusive working environment. By building a culture of respect and appreciation, we give everyone who works here the opportunity to realise their full potential.
