Business Support Administrator

Role : Business support administrator
Location : Welwyn Garden City
Salary: 12.79 p.h
Work hours : 22.5 hours a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Job type: 12 month contract
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deal with a range of enquiries into the unit, via telephone, email, face to face or letter
- Diary management for the clinical team including Psychologist and FMA
- Dealing with subject access requests from external and internal stakeholders
- Compiling complex medical history files from a variety of sources for Ill health retirements, injury on duty and pension cases
- Being the first point of contact for those coming into unit and dealing with initial enquires
- Effectively operating computer-based systems, including medical appointment systems, database reporting, FOI requests and creating data reports
- Dealing with recruitment enquires from external candidates and internal stakeholders including liaising with extender providers and the daily maintenance of recruitment trackers and data requests
Skills required
- Able to undertake administrative work accurately and in a methodical way
- Good ICT and keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Experience of working in a busy administrative role
- Must have a good standard of written and verbal English language communication for correspondence and to be able to speak to people face to face and over the telephone clearly and concisely
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
