This role focuses primarily on new business development, and we are seeking a motivated, ‘hunter’ type salesperson who is truly ‘hungry’ for success. If you thrive on building relationships and actively pursuing new opportunities, this could be the perfect fit for you.


Territory: North of the UK, Scotland


Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the fluid management industry, including valves, fittings, filtration systems, hoses, and other related components. This involves researching potential customers, generating leads, and following up on prospects to convert them into clients
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying potential for upselling or cross-selling fluid management products and solutions
  • Domestic travel to meet with clients and prospects regularly, as well as occasional international travel to attend trade shows, conferences
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve territory growth, meet sales targets, and expand market share. This may include participating in market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Understand clients' technical needs and provide technical advice or propose customized solutions
  • Work with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and feedback, and to coordinate on product launches or marketing initiatives


Requirements:

  • Higher degree
  • 3-10 years of experience in selling fluid management products to the process market (chemical, energy, semiconductor,etc)
  • Solid hunter sales experience
  • Familiarity with fluid control products such as valves, pumps, filters, or similar components. Ability to discuss technical specifications with clients
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, sometimes on short notice
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and drive business growth
