Senior Field Service Engineer – Veterinary Services

£40k - £45k plus bonus – Midlands/Yorkshire/Lincolnshire


Our client are a well-established, global high growth company in the animal health industry. Specializing in diagnostics, endoscopy and biomedical equipment. They are looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer to directly support and report into the Field Service Manager to assist with one to ones and team management

Responsibilities:


  • Full onsite support of customers imaging equipment within Territory (Nights away will be required from time to time)
  • Attending breakdowns in line with SLA’s
  • Ownership of all service SAP service call statuses.
  • Complete annual onsite servicing as required (PMAs).
  • Ensuring accuracy of customer information within SAP.
  • Ensuring customers & customer care teams are kept up to date through service repair process.
  • Work with Service and Support teams through repair process to ensure Service call resolution.
  • Utilising business processes to ensure that service and repair flows are at their most efficient and liaising with internal departments as required.
  • Escalation to Service Manager as required if unable to resolve service calls within turnaround times.
  • Ownership of technical escalations to completion
  • Training of fellow engineers
  • Assistance to account managers with preinstall checks as required.
  • Work with Customer Care and Service Administrator teams to ensure customer issues are resolved.
  • Ensure 5S & Health & Safety standards are followed when at Customer Sites.
  • Coordinating and installation of high-end imaging equipment such as CT, Small Animal DR systems and PACS Systems as required.
  • Other duties are required.


About You:


  • Proven field service experience
  • Experience working on X-Ray, Ultrasound or endoscopy equipment preferred
  • Open & honest communication style.
  • Ability to champion department both internally and externally.
  • Previous knowledge within the veterinary imaging sector would be an advantage however not essential.
  • Experience of electronics/printers preferred from outside healthcare
  • Self-aware.
  • Ability to build strong, respectful relationships both internally and externally.
