Role Summary:

As a result of our rapid expansion in the North East, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to operate in the Newcastle, Darlington, and Leeds regions. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives under pressure and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include the service and maintenance of our vending machines, with specific tasks such as:

  • Responding to machine malfunctions within the established SLA
  • Delivering outstanding customer service consistently
  • Training staff on-site regarding the operational features of installed equipment
  • Collaborating with the Service Desk to ensure call completion and updating the internal system for first-time fault resolution
  • Assisting with site surveys and machine installations as needed
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and flexible work approach
  • Providing coverage in other areas as required by the service desk during absences

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in vending, with a focus on technical, electrical, and mechanical aspects (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems
  • Experience with digital media is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service
  • A proactive problem solver with a positive attitude
  • Self-driven and enthusiastic
  • A collaborative team player committed to achieving company objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence

Comprehensive manufacturer training will be provided.

This role will operate over a 5-day schedule, from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).

We offer a company vehicle, increasing holiday entitlement with service length, pension contributions, and a discretionary bonus based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
