About the Opportunity

We have a brand new exciting opportunity for a Service Support Coordinator to join the Martek Marine team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for the coordination & execution of all field and remote service works globally, working collaboratively across the Aftersales department to deliver high levels of customer service and supporting with all aspects of sales administration.

You will have a very important role to coordinate engineers' worldwide travel to board vessels so they can complete annual service & calibration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day execution of assigned global field and remote service attendances.
  • Coordinate with Aftersales Team & Service Engineer team ensuring all SLA’s & KPI’s are met and achieved.
  • Efficiently convert sales quotes and coordinate service jobs from handover to invoice, providing draft invoices for approval, accountable for ensuring all follow up actions are complete.
  • Responsible for arranging dispatch of service spares to vessels ahead of attendance, including ensuring accurate stock transactions.
  • Monitor lapsed vessels or vessels due servicing work & provide leads to Technical Sales Executives – Aftersales.
  • Ensure that communication with internal stakeholders in other departments is effective and efficient (Technical Sales Executives - Aftersales, Service Engineers, Logistics, Warehouse, Customer Service).
  • Act as annual leave cover for Warranty and Service Coordination and support the sales team to ensure continuity in service provided during annual leave.
  • Any other reasonable duties as and when required.


The Candidate

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Expectation to work well under pressure, to tight vessel schedules while overcoming potential obstacles.
  • Solutions focused with strong understanding of logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Confident communicator with superb organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • "Can do" attitude and willingness to learn.
