Our thriving company is currently on the lookout for a talented Internal Sales & Pricing Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Sales and Pricing Executive at UGL, you'll have the opportunity to take charge and make a significant impact on our business by cultivating and overseeing new and existing business ventures.



Key Responsibilities


· You will co-ordinate the internal sales with a focus on developing Ocean, Road & Airfreight opportunities. This will include following up on any potential new business opportunities.

· Assist in prospecting for business opportunities and supporting the sales staff

· Develop opportunities from customers, networks and agents

· Liaise and coordinate with International partners and Group offices

· Complete quotations and supply the best possible solution.

· Pricing for Air, Road & Sea Freight

· Negotiating and Liaising Directly with Carriers

· In Charge of Profitability & Provided Spot Quotes

· Developing Existing Business & Following Up on Quotations

· Source buy rates where required and produce quotations from the system.

· Ensure all Quotations and costs are loaded onto computer system

· Develop relationships with customers resolving any concerns and ensuring corrective action is taken.

· Deliver new sales opportunities with overseas partners in line with Strategic Sales campaigns and promotions.

· Maximise all new business sales opportunities.

· Join sales managers on customer visits where necessary

· Achieve or exceed key performance indicators set.



Requirements


  • A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in driving sales/Quotes/Pricing within the Freight Forwarding industry.
  • A solid track record of successful Business Development.
  • A strong drive to pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be IT literate.
  • Outstanding communication and telephone skills, accompanied by robust administrative and customer service abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of International Trade routes.
  • An ability to excel under pressure while independently driving initiatives.
  • Experience in meeting and surpassing targets and KPIs.
