Type: Contract (18 months)
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Manager with hands-on experience in managing environmental permits and regulatory compliance. This role is critical for ensuring our client's ongoing Licence to Operate, with a focus on day-to-day permit management, compliance with Reg 61 notices, and supporting Part 2A investigations.
Key skills and experience required:
- Minimum 2 years of practical, hands-on experience managing permits and environmental compliance. Extensive experience may offset the need for a degree.
- Regulatory Engagement: Direct experience dealing with regulators is essential.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding of environmental regulations, particularly in permit management and compliance.
- Desirable: Experience with PFAS is a plus, but not required.
- IT: Good IT skills (Microsoft Office and Environmental Management Systems)
