We are seeking a highly skilled Turnaround and Maintenance Engineering Manager to oversee all facets of site maintenance and turnaround operations, enhancing reliability, availability, and efficiency.

Role Objective: As the Turnaround and Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will spearhead the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance and turnaround initiatives. Your goal is to optimize reliability, maximize production, ensure safety, and manage costs while adhering to all statutory and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute both immediate and long-term maintenance and turnaround strategies aligned with our organizational objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Direct a diverse group of professionals, including multi-discipline engineers and maintenance planners, ensuring all maintenance tasks are thoroughly planned and executed.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage a significant budget, overseeing costs associated with maintenance and turnarounds while contributing to the long-term asset management plan.
  • Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Promote safety leadership across all operations, integrating safe working practices and ensuring adherence to all quality and certification standards.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to elevate our maintenance engineering and turnaround processes to industry-leading standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for a leader with proven experience in managing complex engineering assets and operating within COMAH-regulated industrial environments. Your expertise should encompass multi-discipline engineering, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies. Additionally, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field and Chartered Engineer status.
  • Full membership in a pertinent professional organization.
  • A successful history of implementing global maintenance work processes and turnaround strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
