We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering and Turnaround Manager to oversee all facets of site maintenance and turnaround, enhancing reliability, availability, and efficiency.

Role Objective:In this pivotal role, you will direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance and turnaround operations. Your goal is to optimize reliability, maximize production, ensure safety, and manage costs while adhering to all statutory and regulatory obligations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute both immediate and long-term maintenance and turnaround strategies aligned with our organizational objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a diverse group of professionals, including engineers from various disciplines and maintenance planners, ensuring all maintenance tasks are thoroughly planned and executed.
  • Financial Oversight: Supervise a significant budget, controlling expenses related to maintenance and turnarounds while contributing to the overarching asset management plan.
  • Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Promote safety leadership across all initiatives, integrating safe working practices and ensuring adherence to all quality and certification standards.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to elevate our maintenance engineering and turnaround processes to industry-leading standards.

Qualifications and Expertise:

We are looking for a leader with proven experience in managing intricate engineering assets and working within COMAH-regulated industrial environments. Your expertise should encompass multi-discipline engineering, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies. Additionally, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field and Chartered Engineer status.
  • Full membership in a pertinent professional organization.
  • A demonstrated history of implementing global maintenance work processes and turnaround strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
