About the Role: New Business - Private Sector

As a Business Development Manager focused on small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), you will play a vital role in driving the growth and expansion of Node4. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and implement strategies to maximise revenue from the SMB sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target prospective SMB clients to drive sales and business growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and threats.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and client satisfaction.


What Will You Bring?

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the technology or MSP sector.
  • Strong understanding of the SMB market and its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
