Job Description:
- Through new and ongoing relationship building, keep abreast of current trends within the energy and environmental markets (e.g. Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Water Treatment, etc)
- Identify new market opportunities and profile customer needs, from which to develop new sales campaigns and value propositions.
- Develop a strategic approach to grow our business in the energy and environmental industries.
- Develop and maintain Business Plans for established clients and capture plans for new clients.
- Create sales presentation material as well as contribute to new service introduction initiatives.
- Support the promotion of the brand through digital means and attend key industry events.
- Lobby decision-makers to penetrate new markets.
- Drive market and competitive analysis
- Answer bids and support deal closure.
Responsibilities:
- Growing and developing our future client accounts by designing your business plan and strategy with the British engineering market.
- Creating new business leads through networking and closing business with key customers.
- Participating in the recruitment of our new consultants.
The ideal candidate will possess a curiosity for the Engineering sector, with a result-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. They will be comfortable working in an international and fast paced environment.
- You think strategically and work well under tight deadlines.
- You have excellent communication and can navigate multi-level organisations.
- Ideally, you have experience in complex product sales or consulting services.
- Ideally, you have experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders (customers, suppliers or partners).
- Previous experience in business development or key account management would be beneficial.
Experience required:
- Bachelors or master's degree in Engineering, Management or Business administration.
- Significant industrial experience in a relevant industry, such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Water Treatment, etc.
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams and performing business development activities.
- Being result oriented, having an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills and natural leadership is crucial.
