One of Carbon60's clients is looking for a Part-time (contract) Marketer to join a leading media technology association and contribute to the advancement of the industry. The client is looking for someone to join the team and help grow brand awareness and engagement.


Contract specifics:

  • Pay rate: £32 per hour (Outside IR35)
  • Contract length: 6 months (potential to be extended)
  • Fully remote
  • 20 hours a week
  • Start date: 9th September 2024.


Responsibilities:

  • You will plan and execute marketing campaigns to raise our brand awareness, demonstrate our industry leadership, and drive membership leads.
  • You will own all audience engagement and acquisition activities, control market-facing comms channels, act as our brand guardian, and manage the re-production and re-purposing of all content assets to support different aims and channels.
  • You will create and manage our LinkedIn account, generate weekly posts, produce blog posts every two weeks, and manage paid social media campaigns.
  • You will draft and send monthly newsletters to key personas, using data platforms and segmentation strategies.
  • You will work closely with our internal delivery team, advising members and sponsors on the marketing strategy required to deliver on our short and long-term objectives.


Experience needed:

  • Proven experience in all digital and social media marketing, including email marketing (ideally using Eloqua), SEO, Google Analytics, and paid search (LinkedIn).
  • Experience in managing corporate social media accounts and creating engaging content for blogs, newsletters, and LinkedIn posts.
  • Experience in working with data platforms and segmentation strategies.
  • Experience in sourcing information through interviews with association members and re-purposing existing content.
  • Experience in collaborating with subject matter experts for content review.
  • Awareness or previous experience with media technology is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to timescales and client requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and marketing tools.
