This role is all about driving disruptive growth and establishing this category as a market leader. You’ll lead with an entrepreneurial mindset and excel in stakeholder management, both internally and externally. This is a hybrid role and open to candidates being based at any of our sites. ( Pontefract, York, Gateshead, Norwich, Wallingford, Blackpool, Heanor )


What You’ll Do:


  • Drive Results: Hit or beat budget financial targets and grow market shares.
  • Create Brand Plans: Develop and deliver exceptional brand plans, maximizing available resources.
  • Innovate and Learn: Implement outstanding learning plans with the capacity to dare, try, learn, and improve.
  • Lead Reporting: Provide excellent quarterly reporting internally and prepare externally-facing versions.
  • Analyse and Decide: Use excellent analytical thinking to root decision-making in logic and insights.
  • Coach and Energise: Coach your team and others, energizing and educating them about our new category group.
  • Manage Budgets: Own the marketing budget for the category group, covering core marketing, ASOH, and shopper marketing.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Foster excellent internal and cross-functional collaboration within the biscuits and cakes team.
  • Represent Externally: Be the face of our biscuits and cakes brands, especially with retailers.
  • Inspire Consumer Focus: Lead and inspire the “Consumer is Boss” plan, maintaining regular connections with consumers.
