GAP Talent is working with a leading restaurant and hospitality group in the Caribbean and we are currently seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to enhance our brand presence and maximize revenue across all locations. This strategic role involves managing our online presence, developing our concierge program, collaborating with local tour companies, and enhancing our internal sales capabilities.


NOT REMOTE: This is an international post and full relocation, housing and vehicle will be provided along side an attractive base salary of circa $100,000 to $110,000 USD


Please note: Due to the somewhat remote nature of the post, and limited schooling options available, this opportunity may not be suited to families with older/teenage children.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance the group’s online presence and digital footprint to ensure brand consistency and engagement across all digital platforms.
  • Develop and manage relationships with Jamaican tour companies to increase footfall at locations.
  • Work directly with General Managers and staff at various locations to coach and train them in effective upselling techniques for food, beverages, and merchandise.
  • Manage and strategically allocate the Sales Promotion Incentive Fund to maximize marketing initiatives and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to align marketing strategies and sales goals.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on marketing ROI, sales trends, and market insights to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Head of Sales and Marketing, preferably in the hospitality or related industry, with a minimum of 7-10 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content management, and social media strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships and enhance customer engagement.
  • Experience in training and motivating teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
