The Opportunity:

Within our Product & Market Development Team, we spearhead the development and management of a diverse range of new and ongoing offerings, designed to address the challenges of Business Continuity through Software Escrow Services.

In close collaboration with our customers and cross-functional teams, our mission is to protect the parties involved in the development, supply, and use of business-critical software applications, information, and technology. Software Escrow Services protects the end-user from supply chain disruption, regardless of where in the supply chain the failure has happened by ensuring

the legal right to a critical application.

We are currently seeking an adept Commercial Product Manager to join our vibrant team of Product & Market experts. This role involves delivering revolutionary services and technology that ultimately safeguard our customers' software investments. Whether you prefer a remote, office-based, or hybrid work setup, we offer flexibility to meet your needs. Our team has a strong history of remote and global collaboration, making all working locations the norm.

The Challenge:

  • As a Commercial Product Manager reporting to the Head of Product & Market Development, your primary responsibilities will involve extensive collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across NCC Group – Escode globally to:
  • Deliver the full range of Product Management services for propositions at differing lifecycle
  • stages.
  • Be a Product champion and ambassador – making market trends/analysis and product knowledge easily understood and regularly communicated throughout the Division.
  • Drive sales understanding and commercial excellence.

Specifically, you will:

  • Take accountability for creating key Commercial Product deliverables, including: Service definition (service descriptions, data sheets, RACI documents, OLAs, etc.)
  • Building cost models & service development plans
  • Develop profitable financial models with finance team
  • Product presentations, training & internal communications
  • Consult with Market Analysts to support Go-to-Market strategy Value proposition definition
  • Engaging prototypes and proof of concepts
  • Plan, execute, and communicate new product releases and enhancements to drive business growth and internal adoption.
  • Regularly engage with diverse teams such as Sales, Delivery, Legal, Finance and Customer Success to ensure their full alignment with your services and processes.
  • Collaborate with marketing to deliver compelling Sales Enablement and Campaign materials,
  • ensuring clear and concise communication of the product value proposition.
  • Identify intellectual property within and outside the business that could enhance our propositions.
  • Interact with vendors/partners to stay informed about upcoming capabilities that could extend the portfolio or enhance specific services.
  • Gather, review, and prioritise internal and external feedback to drive continuous service
  • and process improvement.
  • Contribute to Bids, RFP & Market Analyst responses requiring detailed information about the portfolio you manage.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in either Product/Proposition Manager or Product Marketing Manager roles, demonstrating the ability to identify and shape new customer value propositions within existing service lines.
  • A knack for connecting the commercial dots, identifying value within existing but unconnected service lines to solve modern-day software resilience and escrow service challenges.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, effectively navigating the needs and considerations of teams impacted by proposition development and change.
  • Customer-centric thinking, understanding how NCC Group – Escode and our service offerings are perceived externally, and contributing to the evolution of listening posts, client forums, and discovery sessions.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders across multiple departments and geographies, excelling in selling new propositions to a senior audience.

Desirable:

  • Formal Product Management/Marketing certification
  • Background in, or demonstrated awareness of, Business Continuity, Software Escrow related Services
  • Awareness of developing or working with Cloud and SaaS platforms.
