UX Designer (Mid-Senior Level)

Location: Manchester

Salary: £50,000-60,000

Work Arrangement: 1-2 Days in Office Weekly

My Product Path is collaborating with a rapidly expanding travel company to find a talented UX Designer to become a permanent member of their team. This role has been newly established within a growing organization and will report to an exceptional UX Lead who has recently joined. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle multiple design initiatives concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and uphold extensive design systems that guarantee uniformity and scalability across all digital platforms.
  • Work alongside designers, developers, and product managers to set and uphold design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Organize and execute user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability assessments, and persona creation.
  • Deliver research insights and suggestions to stakeholders to promote user-focused design solutions.
  • Oversee the complete design process, from initial concepts to final implementation, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business objectives and user requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers during the implementation phase to ensure the final product adheres to design specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Engage closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to outline and prioritize design needs.
  • Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to cultivate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and reasoning to team members and stakeholders.

Your Background:

  • Several years of experience in UX Design within a digital environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing design systems.
  • Strong grasp of user research methodologies and experience in conducting user studies.
  • Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma.
  • Thorough understanding of the complete design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A portfolio showcasing robust design skills and user-centered design solutions.
  • Experience in the travel, loyalty, e-commerce, or fintech sectors is preferred.
