System Functional Analyst

BLACKROC is seeking a Payroll Systems Functional Analyst to join one of the largest food companies in the world, who specialise in the processing and distribution. This functional analyst will support the functional administration, master data management, configuration, and maintenance of the payroll and time attendance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage the time, attendance, and payroll systems.
  • Assist business units in setting up payroll functionalities, access levels, and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Provide support for the administration of people systems.
  • Offer systems expertise and solutions to the Payroll and HR teams.
  • Maintain interfaces between SAP and Kronos, focusing on continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial instruments and payroll legislation.
  • Oversee the correct setup of all employees in Kronos.
  • Address incidents, problems, and functional issues promptly and efficiently.

About You:

  • Knowledge of KRONOS WFD/WFC, including configuration of building blocks, payroll testing, version upgrades, Award interpretation, Pay Codes, Work Rules, Interfaces, Scheduling, and Advanced Scheduler.
  • Experience with complex, multi-site, and multi-agreement organisations.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting issues, analysing solutions, managing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Proficiency in SAP Payroll (preferred) and Time & Attendance Systems, with strong time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, SOX/Audit compliance, and an analytical, solutions-focused mindset.
