FULFILMENT ASSISTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Fulfilment Assistant

Department: Customer Service 

Reporting To: Customer Service Representative

Days / Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Location : London Studio Based 

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support to the Customer Service and Fulfilment team with quality control checking, inventory management, booking customer orders, picking and packing orders.

The Key Responsibilities Are: 

Inventory Management: 

  • Liaising with the Fulfilment / Logistics Company and Production Team to check stock. 
  • Having first hand knowledge and memory of all inventory and communicating with the production team regarding stock production time frames.
  • Being knowledgeable and having great memory on all collections, styles, size guides, SKU’s. 
  • Quality control checking orders received from the production team ensuring all checks are completed as per quality control procedure. 
  • Quality control checking returns and exchanges that have arrived and ensuring they’re as per our returns and exchanges policy. 
  • Updating returns and exchanges spreadsheet and communicating feedback to Customer service and production team.
  • Managing inventory system and ensuring it is updated weekly.

Shipping Logistics: 

  • Booking shipments via Fulfilment / Logistics account. 
  • Printing shipping labels for customer orders.
  • Booking collections everyday between 1-3pm
  • Attaching labels to order packages 
  • Assisting customers tracking orders using tracking system
  • Sanity checking all orders have been shipped and delivered via tracking details ensuring delivered safely to the customer. 

Order Fulfilment: 

  • Updating live orders and dispatch log spreadsheet with new orders
  • Checking delivery requests to meet requests by customers
  • Picking and packing orders 
  • Updating orders with tracking details. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • All candidates are expected to have at least one years’ experience in retail fashion and a genuine desire to provide good service levels to the customer. 
  • A minimum of one years’ experience in an online fashion or retail environment. 
  • An understanding and passion for Khanum’s and enthusiasm to represent the brand well. 
  • Familiar with working in a small focused team/start up environment. 
  • Developed digital/tech skills. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel. 
  • Ideally has operations and logistics experience.

  • Quick learner and ability to adapt with new platforms / dashboard. 
  • Reliability is extremely crucial.
