Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be tasked with managing a team of 3 at Key Account Manager, Junior Key Account Manager and Sales Coordinator levels As well as being hands on with managing a multi-million £ customer base across Discounter and Wholesale.
What will you be doing?
- Manage, network and develop relationships across Discounter and Wholesale customers
- Succesfully manage and lead a team of 3, coaching throughout and succesfully facilitating development plans
- Lead all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management
- Collaborate with Senior Commercial team and Buyers to identify and grow opportunities within brands and categories
- Understand commercial impact – Pricing, promotions, and Investment etc
- Negotiate trading terms, pricing, range reset opportunities, JBP’s and cost increase where relevant
What will you need?
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within National Accounts within FMCG, ideally non-food FMCG
- Experience or an interest within the toy/product industry
- People management experience
- Proven track record of growing existing business and winning new business
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- A positive and proactive attitude, who is self-motivated and capable of working both independently and across functions
