Position: Senior National Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with Discounter and Wholesale customers.
  • Effectively lead and mentor a team of three, ensuring ongoing coaching and development.
  • Oversee all facets of the sales process, collaborating with team members for solution development and proposal execution as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Senior Commercial team and Buyers to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within various brands and categories.
  • Analyze commercial implications including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and investment considerations.
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing adjustments, range resets, Joint Business Plans (JBP), and relevant cost increases.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in National Accounts within the consumer goods sector, preferably in non-food categories.
  • Experience or interest in the toy or product industry.
  • Demonstrated people management experience.
  • Proven success in expanding existing business and acquiring new clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • A proactive and positive mindset, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively across functions.
