The successful candidate will be joining the business during an exciting time of transformation, and this role will provide the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment which requires a pragmatic, commercial approach and the ability to work individually, as well as part of a team, on a variety of projects.
This is a permanent, predominantly remote position with occasional travel across the UK, particularly to Inverness and London. We are offering an impressive rewards and benefits package, including:

Required experience and qualifications:
Experience in Information Security with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance
Desirable relevant qualifications from ISC2, ISACA, EC Council etc
Knowledge of IT systems, networking principles, and security controls
Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
Self-motivated, with a passion for career development
Able to travel occasionally, ideally with a full UK driving licence

Role and responsibilities:
Support the continual development and maintenance of the organisation's cybersecurity and privacy strategy
Facilitate and conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies
Support and manage the response to security incidents
Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
Support and build out the provision of training to employees on cybersecurity best practices and data privacy requirements
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and continuously improve the organisation's security posture
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes and systems
Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers
