Position Overview

Work Arrangement
This is a permanent position that primarily allows for remote work, with occasional travel required across the UK.

Qualifications and Experience Required
- Proven experience in Information Security with a focus on governance, risk management, and compliance
- Relevant certifications from recognized bodies such as ISC2, ISACA, or EC Council are desirable

- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-driven with a strong desire for professional growth
- Willingness to travel occasionally, ideally possessing a full UK driving license
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of the organization's cybersecurity and privacy strategy
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses and propose mitigation strategies
- Manage responses to security incidents effectively
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
- Provide training to staff on cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes and systems
- Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers
