Required experience and qualifications:
• Experience in Information Security with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance
• Desirable relevant qualifications from ISC2, ISACA, EC Council etc
• Knowledge of IT systems, networking principles, and security controls

Role and responsibilities:
• Support the continual development and maintenance of the organisation's cybersecurity and privacy strategy
• Facilitate and conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support and manage the response to security incidents
• Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
• Support and build out the provision of training to employees on cybersecurity best practices and data privacy requirements
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and continuously improve the organisation's security posture
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes and systems
• Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers
