The Role:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented professional with a consultative sales approach and a passion for technology. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving business growth through new client acquisition. This role offers the opportunity to play a crucial part in RiverSafe’s expansion by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities in the rapidly evolving fields of Cyber security, DevOps, and Application security.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Establish credible dialogue with decision-makers using various communication channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, face-to-face meetings).
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, challenges and opportunities related to Cyber security, DevOps and AppSec.
  • Create and nurture a pipeline of profitable opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge and expert business development skills.
  • Craft and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that drive win-win outcomes for customers and RiverSafe.
  • Negotiate effectively with customers to maximize project value and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to qualify, progress and win new business.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and compile reports for management.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.


Skill

  • Experience selling IT services, preferably Cyber Security, is essential.
  • 3-4 years of proven sales experience and quota achievement in IT services.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Self-starter with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to research target audiences and personalise outreach.
  • Experience in leveraging professional social platforms for customer engagement.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about evolving technology trends.
