For our client, a global provider of cloud-based contact center as a service (CCaaS) solutions, specializing in the credit and collections industry, we are seeking a Sales and Business Development Consultant to join their team as a B2B contractor, focusing on driving growth in the contact center technology sector.


Job Summary


The Sales and Business Development Consultant plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding their customer base within the credit and collections industry. This individual will identify, qualify, and nurture sales opportunities while building strong relationships with current and potential clients and partners.


Responsibilities:


  • Prospect, qualify, and develop a robust pipeline of new business opportunities within the call center, BPO, and credit and collections industries.
  • Conduct market research and identify potential customers within the target vertical.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to prospective clients.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the specific needs of credit and collections businesses.
  • Collaborate with account managers, technical implementers, and other internal teams to support the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Accurately forecast sales and pipeline activities.
  • Utilize CRM software (Salesforce.com) to manage sales activities and customer and partner information.


Qualifications:


  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the credit and collections industry.
  • Strong understanding of the contact center market and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with prospects and customers.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Preferred: Experience in the credit and collections industry.
  • B2B contract
