What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Key Account Manager to join our wholesale and retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth within both wholesale and retail sectors.

Account Management:

·        Manage and nurture key accounts within both wholesale and retail sectors.

·        Develop a deep understanding of each client's business needs and objectives.

·        Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.

Sales Growth:

·        Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth within key accounts in both wholesale and retail sectors.

·        Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

·        Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion within existing accounts.

Contract Negotiation:

·        Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with key accounts in both wholesale and retail sectors to ensure mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

·        Review and update contractual agreements, as necessary.

A Great Candidate Will Have

·        Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, buyers, and decision-makers in both wholesale and retail sectors.

·        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, negotiate terms, and address client inquiries or concerns.

·        Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills with the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans, meet, or exceed sales targets, and identify new business opportunities within key accounts in both wholesale and retail sectors.

·        Business Acumen: Sound understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and wholesale and retail distribution channels to effectively navigate the industry landscape.

·        Negotiation: Proficient negotiation skills to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with key accounts in both wholesale and retail sectors, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

·        Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to conduct market research and analysis, identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities within key accounts in both wholesale and retail sectors.

·        Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues or challenges within key accounts and develop effective solutions to address them, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

·        Team Collaboration: Collaborative mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to achieve common goals and objectives.

·        Entrepreneurial: Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive innovation within the wholesale and retail sectors.

·        FMCG Accountant Management experience: Proven history of success in key account management, including field sales, within the wholesale and retail industry.
