With a workforce of over 1000 employees, they are a market leader in their industry, boasting an impressive portfolio of products and services that cater to a diverse range of customers.DescriptionThe main responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant are:Processing of both 4-weekly and monthly payrolls, covering over 400 staffBuilding a rapport with team leaders to check hours and attendance are recorded correctlyReconciliation of payrollPension submissionsPosting of payroll into management accountsAd-hoc reportingInternal auditing in relation to payroll data - staff hours and overtime for exampleP11D calculationsActioning liability ordersAdministration of employee benefit packagesMaintaining employee databasesGeneral HR administration dutiesProfileA successful Payroll Assistant should have:A strong understanding of payroll processes and financial regulations.Proficiency in using sage50 and other related systems.A strong working understanding of EXCEL A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive approach to problem-solving.An ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Job OfferAn estimated salary of up to £35k23 days holiday + bank holidaysCompetitive benefits package.Private health care Enhanced maternity/paternity payFree on site parkingCompany discountsFull time office position
