The Michael Page (UK) group is a leading specialist recruiter in the UK. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Financial Services Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in Newton-Le-Willows.

This Financial Assistant - Payroll and Accounts position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work with a reputable Manufacturing business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing payroll for over 400 staff members, including both 4 weekly and monthly payrolls. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in this role. You will also be responsible for P11D calculations, reconciliation of payroll, pension submissions, and posting of payroll into management accounts. Additionally, you will need to collate data for payroll and perform internal auditing on payroll data, including staff hours, overtime, and expenses.

We are looking for someone with previous experience within a Payroll position who is proficient in using Sage 50. Strong communication and organizational skills are crucial, as well as strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and be able to provide excellent support to the HR team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, which includes up to 24 days' holiday per year, rising to 25 after 12 months' service, plus bank holidays.
