The Senior Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales strategies within the financial services industry, with a focus on customer service excellence. This permanent role is based in Manchester and requires a results-driven individual to lead sales operations effectively.Client DetailsAre you a confident, fast-paced Sales Leader who thrives in a results-driven contact centre environment?This is a newly created senior leadership role within a growing, people-focused and highly regulated business - a company known for its excellent culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to doing things the right way.We're looking for someone with telesales, contact centre and B2C experience, who has proven success managing managers and driving high-performing teams through data, coaching, and accountability.DescriptionReporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company's ambitious growth plans. You'll lead a group of five managers (four team managers and one admin manager), responsible for around 70 people in total. Two of your managers are experienced; two are newly promoted - so your ability to develop and empower others will be key. This is a hands-on, senior sales leadership position where you'll:Drive performance across telesales and warranty teams through strong KPI managementIdentify performance gaps quickly and act decisively to resolve themLead with trust, transparency and pace - no micromanagement, but high accountabilityDeliver strong sales results within agreed timescalesFoster a "get it done" culture built on ownership, data-led decisions and high standardsYou'll also be joining at an exciting time of growth and investment, with a supportive SLT, great energy in the office, and a genuine opportunity to progress internally.ProfileYou'll already be operating as a Senior Sales Manager or equivalent in a fast-moving, call centre-based environment and have experience: Leading Sales and/or Telesales teams in a B2C environment (essential)Managing multiple managers for at least 18 monthsDriving sales performance through structured coaching, data analysis, and KPIsHandling difficult conversations with clarity and confidenceDeveloping people - helping your managers grow into stronger leadersWorking logically and methodically, keeping multiple projects moving at paceYou'll be the kind of leader who's trusted to deliver, thrives under pressure, and brings a strong mix of commercial focus and emotional intelligence.Job OfferSalary: £45,000 (with scope to rise internally)OTE: £70,000-£85,000+ (monthly bonuses, accelerators, and trust bonuses linked to sales, and 5* performance)28 days holiday + bank holidaysProfessional training and developmentHours: Monday-Friday, full-time office-based (some flexibility for occasional home working)
