Job Summary:


As a Trainee Distribution Manager, you will be an integral part of our Transport team, working closely with management to ensure the efficient distribution of our products and working closely with other departments to help deliver a great customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone with a good standard of education.

This hands-on role, consisting of on-the-job training will involve working closely with, and deputising for various Transport team members, in order to develop a complete understanding of the department and the business as a whole.


Key Responsibilities:


Become familiar with all roles and responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Route Planning
  • Fleet compliance
  • Office Administration
  • Supervisory duties


Essential criteria:

  • A-Level or equivalent level of education
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


Desirable:


  • 3rd level qualification in Business, Logistics or supply chain.
  • Previous experience in a distribution or logistics role is an advantage.
  • Experience using Power Bi
