We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our client, a leading food processing company, in Coleraine. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating operations in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production teams to ensure efficient and effective operation of the warehouse
  • Manage stock levels and inventory to minimize waste and optimize storage capacity
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximize efficiency, implementing changes as necessary
  • Collaborate with production teams to achieve production targets and meet customer demands
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees
  • Pack and label products for distribution, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Pick and prepare orders for dispatch, meeting customer deadlines and expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory experience in a food processing or warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures, with a strong understanding of HACCP principles
  • Counterbalance forklift license or experience, with the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • HACCP training and certification, with a strong understanding of food safety protocols

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.95
  • A weekly bonus scheme, with an average payout of £80 per week
  • A mid-shift pattern, with a mix of 1pm-8pm, 11am-6pm, and 1pm-5pm shifts
