?? The Role:
As a Data Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company's database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. You will work closely with the Sales team and various stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, quality control, account management and sales support administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Development Managers and Internal Sales team, ensuring efficient handling of incoming customer inquiries
- Use IT and CRM systems to generate price files, reports, and capture key sales data
- Monitor and analyse sales metrics, identify trends, and share insights with the sales team to boost sales and margins
- Communicate with customers about price changes, product delists, and specification updates
- Input special and banded pricing accurately on IT systems, ensuring timely updates of all price lists
- Collaborate with purchasing to manage contracted lines, stock availability, and short-dated products
- Maintain and update customer buying portals
- Assist sales team in identifying new opportunities and support with pricing proposals, contracts, and presentations
- Work with the sample administrator to provide customer support as directed by the sales team
- Identify and improve reporting and processes to support sales growth
? Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Administrator or Sales Support Administrator specialising in Data and Analytics
- Strong attention to detail and analytic skills
- Proficiency in database management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
