Responsibilities:

  • and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth within national accounts.
  • and manage a team of Key Accounts Managers and Sales Representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, purchasing managers, and decision-makers at national pharmacy chains, wholesalers, and other relevant organizations.
  • and capitalize on business opportunities within national accounts, including new product launches, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies.
  • cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of account strategies.
  • market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth.
  • contracts, pricing agreements, and supply agreements with national accounts to optimize profitability and ensure long-term partnerships.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • track record of success in pharmaceutical sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management or key account management roles.
  • knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and healthcare trends.
  • leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • to travel nationally and internationally as required.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
