Job Summary
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to provide administrative support and assistance to a busy professional in managing their daily tasks and schedules.

Responsibilities

  1. Twice daily record value shares accurately on spreadsheet
  2. Keep record of all share transactions on spreadsheets including listing (for the calculating of the Capital Gains Tax)
  3. Keep record of all rental income on spreadsheet and report to the MD once a month
  4. Pay any bills on the properties and list them as outgoings (ready for the annual Tax Return)
  5. Get quotes for building works and liaise with tenants
  6. Keep track of residential property tenancy agreements, renew as necessary
  7. Record details of bank accounts from Internet banking and report balances to the MD twice a week
  8. Print incoming emails and correspondences for the MD
  9. Get quotes for family and company insurance policies (buildings and vehicle fleet)
  10. From time-to-time there could be work requested of you by others within the Company that is outside of the above scope relating to Merefields Electronics Ltd as this forms part of this role
  11. Filing of documents
  12. Monitor issues for the Company (both offices and warehouse)

Skills

  1. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately in English both orally and in written communications
  2. Proficient in clerical and office procedures
  3. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word for basic bookkeeping/clerical tasks
  4. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with the Director
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  7. Administrative experience essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
