Office Administration Manager

Seeking a skilled Administrative Lead to oversee the recruitment process and manage key administrative functions for AKON Security Services Ltd in Canterbury, Kent.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in administrative or clerical roles, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. They should also be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and adapt to changing work demands.
We offer a competitive pay rate (£35,000 - £45,000 per annum), 28 days paid holiday, options pension scheme with employer contribution, range of medical and discount schemes, free uniform and PPE/equipment, training and development opportunities, S.I.A Frontline licence fee covered by Akon, and on-site parking.
This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive and friendly work environment where you will be responsible for building relationships with businesses, creating and posting job adverts, maintaining vetting policies and procedures, and monitoring applicant progress through each stage of their recruitment.
In this role, you will use your strong organisational skills to plan, prioritise and execute duties, demonstrate problem-solving and creative-thinking skills, and communicate effectively with clients, customers, and external agencies. You will also be required to maintain vetting records, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and prepare interview and onboarding paperwork.
Please note that sector or industry knowledge, including BS 7858:2019, is desirable but not mandatory. A-levels and a degree are not required but would be an advantage. Microsoft Office training and certification would be advantageous as much of your work will involve typing, document editing and printing.
