The role is office-based with some home-working currently, with a need to travel to all Trust sites on an occasional basis to undertake assurance visits and some meetings.

As a small team of four people focussed on CQC compliance and assurance, good communication and collaborative working between us is essential. At times of CQC inspection and engagement activities workload is high and a flexible approach is needed to ensure cover and achievement of all deadlines. All team members receive regular 1-1s with their manager, and attend team meetings.

Working within the Chief Nursing Officer’s directorate, the Quality Administrator will support the Compliance, Assurance and Quality Facilitators by providing high quality administration support to the CQC compliance and assurance and quality strategy programmes of work. This post is to primarily support the CQC Compliance and Assurance programme.

Working with a wide range of stakeholders across the Trust the post holder will:

- Provide administration support to the Head of CQC Compliance & Improvement, Quality Assurance, Compliance & Improvement Lead and Compliance, Assurance and Quality Facilitators, or on an ad-hoc basis anyone working within the remits of the CQC, CQUIN and quality programmes.
- Follow up action plans, arrange and minute meetings, update project documentation, manage queries to the team and ensure correspondence is logged and actioned.
- Work independently and manage own workload, use initiative but with support and guidance.
- At times of CQC inspection work flexibly by making arrangements at very short notice such as room bookings, parking, refreshments, inspector identification badges, liaising with the CQC and colleagues.
- Positively promote the Trust’s improvement journey and objectives to get to a CQC rating of good and then outstanding by acting as an advocate for improvement.
