JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES DIRECTOR - SPORTS


Videocites is a novel AI-based video tracking and analytics company. Comprising state of the art Machine Learning and Computer Vision technologies, our cloud-based SaaS platform is used by global companies in multiple industries: Media and Entertainment, Advertising, Sports and Homeland Security. The company’s products operate in different domains, such as Rights Management of VOD and Live content for premium (Sports, Theatrical, TV, etc.) content owners, advertising and true viewership analytics for brands and advertisers, and others. Videocites was established by several serial entrepreneurs and three renowned CS professors.

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in Europe. Reporting directly to the CRO, the Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, and managing and building relationships of Videocites clients in Europe.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's presence and market share.
  • Client Acquisition: Lead by example in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, and closing strategic deals.
  • Client Success: Collaborate closely with the client success and customer support teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and maximize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Operations: Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency within the sales organization.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, providing valuable insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics and performance indicators, leveraging data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and inform business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth in the SaaS technology sector, preferably within the sports & entertainment and social media industry.
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, SaaS business models, and key industry trends, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive business results.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high degree of adaptability, resilience, and initiative.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

 

LOCATION

This is a remote position based in London, with regular communication and collaboration with Executives in New York & Israel
