The Opportunity: Are you passionate about making a difference to people's financial wellbeing? Do you have a knack for building strong relationships and driving business growth? Do you have a background in Sales and Marketing and/or business development?In this B2B Sales role you'll be supporting the Marketing team by nurturing relationships with Partners, often starting with cold-calling and networking as well as social selling. You will be proactively creating and following up on leads to be able to meet with and influence key decision makers within the partner businesses, leading to long term relationships that develop and accounts which grow over time.You’ll be working on:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential business partners across various sectors through email, telephone, face-to-face meetings, and online platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Opportunity Creation: Proactively create opportunities to connect with and influence key decision-makers within target companies.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Use your communication and sales skills to secure agreements with potential partners, enabling their employees to access top quality financial services products.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with partner employers, ensuring ongoing opportunities to promote products through visits, events, and presentations.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to understand the full range of services available and how they can benefit partner employers.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed targets as outlined in the Marketing Plan.
To excel in this role you will have:
  • Top-notch Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the confidence to deliver compelling presentations both online and in person.
  • Influencing & Negotiation skills: Strong ability to influence decisions and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple communications and events, ensuring alignment with the communication plan.
  • Self-Motivation: A self-starter with flexibility and a passion for improving financial wellbeing.
  • Strong attention to detail: Capable of working to deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a target-driven B2B environment with a background in Sales, Marketing or New Business Development.
