Potter + Moore Innovations Ltd is the key trading company based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and focuses on the design, manufacture and distribution of product in its three key operating functions; Brands (owned), Private Label Supply and Contract Manufacturing.

Our customer base ranges from key multiple drugstore, grocery and fashion retailers to premium brands and are supplied throughout the UK and growing international markets.

Ranging in format and market position within several key health + beauty categories including bath, shower and body care, skincare, haircare, well-being, male grooming, fine fragrance and baby. Our core award winning brands include Feather & Down, Balance Active Formula, T Zone, The Curl Company, Janina and Creightons.

Role Description

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to drive sales performance in the branded function across all digital channels, platforms and social media.

The branded division has grown significantly in the past 5+ years organic growth of inhouse developed brands and three brand acquisitions. The focus of this part of the role will be to execute the current strategy and work on developing a future digital and tactical plan on how the business is to achieve its next level of growth in the digital space. The goal would be to double the revenues again within the next 2-3 years and ideally beyond.

In the digital area, the company’ current digital business in a number of areas:

a sizable business on Amazon platforms (seller and vendor) - UK established, embryonic in Germany and USAthree dotcom brand sites (one being the priority for growth)social media activities – including recent launch of TIKTOK shop for one of its brandsbrands listed on third party pure play platforms and retail websites

Developing each of these elements for all key brands and in agreed global markets will be key to the success of the role.

This will involve designing campaign, content and video strategies that transmit each brand’s goals and objectives together with the brand/marketing team. Upgrading the organisation's digital capabilities with key stakeholders, as well as implementing best practice social media and digital marketing trends for profitable growth.

In summary, this role is a key business/sales driving position and will be pivotal to the growth and development of a number of the company’s brands in the digital space.

The Ideal Candidate Description:

The role requires someone with experience and gravitas and with the ability to network at a senior management level. The successful candidate will, therefore, need to be experienced enough to achieve this yet still hungry and ambitious enough to enjoy the chase that always precedes driving business wins; and who is robust enough to overcome the setbacks and dead ends that will inevitably also occur.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated record of success in digital marketing in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B tech environment.
  • A love of data and be very comfortable taking many data sources, interpreting them, and understanding the logical next steps.
  • Great hands-on leader of a high-performing team and an exceptional influencer.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to confidently challenge constructively at all levels, including management.
  • Highly proficient in briefing, analysing and presenting data.
  • Minimum of 10+ years sales experience at a mid to senior level.
  • Must have experience and demonstrate building brands.
  • Demonstrate the management, development and motivation of a team.
  • Industry experience of working with FMCG brands – health + beauty industry preferred although not essential – other related categories considered.
