Job Description

This is a dynamic role where you will be given the license to use your expertise to create a world class Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the most effective techniques, tools and processes are utilised using your excellent interpersonal skills. On offer is the chance to work as part of a FTSE 250 business to enact real change and influence a global company.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of IT Projects, you will be responsible for leading effective project and programme management controls as well as PMO governance and reporting metrics, to enable successful delivery of the IT Portfolio.


In this role you will support the successful delivery of all global IT projects during an exciting period of significant change, including implementing, managing and improving PMO controls; ensuring on time delivery; implementing and managing project gate reviews; and defining and maintaining standards for successful portfolio, programme and project execution.


The successful candidate will be someone who can influence at all levels of a business and be highly motivated to take a role and be given the freedom to leave an positive, indelible mark.


Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading a PMO
  • Project and/or programme management qualification
  • Evidence of utilising metrics and reporting to successfully steer projects
