Responsibilities:

To provide exceptional quality assessments of Income Protection, Waiver of Premium and Death Claims in line with Society philosophy, process and procedures, delivering a first class Claims journey for our members.

Accurate and thorough assessment of medical, financial and occupational information for new Claims, within agreed authority, productivity and service levels, interpreting and applying policy terms and conditions correctly in order to determine the validity of Claims

Pro-active management of on-going Claims, clear and transparent member communications by phone as our preferred method, management of expectations, clearly documented robust justification for decisions and requests for information, referral to Manager, CMO, Reassurer and other third parties when appropriate

Taking ownership of delivering ad hoc tasks and small projects within agreed parameters as discussed with Claims Manager, carrying out appropriate investigations and research where required.
