Global Client Partner – Sr. Director – Life Sciences / Consumer Goods

Location: Hybrid London / Remote



We are currently looking to identify a dynamic individual to join our Life Sciences BU as a Global Client Partner (Sr. Director level).

This position is dedicated to managing and growing one account (a global Life Sciences / Consumer Goods company with HQ in London). Working pattern would be hybrid: client site combined with some office presence and home-working if preferred.

The focus of the role will be on identifying ways to further grow the account across the whole suite of services which Cognizant has on offer.

The Sr. Director grade comes with a very generous compensation package which consists of base salary, car allowance, RSU’s, a very generous target bonus as well as executive level benefits.


  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Market Leadership – Develop and execute account’s strategy for long-term profitable growth and position Cognizant as a thought partner and business leader within the client
  • Relationship Management - Cultivate long-term client relationships and aim to broaden Cognizant’s relationship footprint with key clients within the account.
  • Business Development - Create opportunities and involve the right teams to position Cognizant’s credentials, assets and value to the client and qualify, prioritise and assign opportunities to deliver the highest percentage of wins.
  • Account Operations – Deliver against the account strategy and goals at the account level
  • Forecast and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue & margin targets
  • Enhance profitability and actively drive portfolio’s overall financial performance



  1. What are we looking for in candiudates?
  • Client and industry knowledge
  1. Extensive client facing business development experience in the IT industry (RFP responses, navigating internal teams to service the client)
  2. Good understanding of the Life Sciences or Consumer Goods industry
  3. Appreciation of the requirements of operating in regulated environments (GxP, SOX)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Results driven
  • Building relationships and strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience
  • Concepts of financial, marketing and business strategy
  • Business acumen
  • Working knowledge across Business Consulting, Application, Infrastructure and BPO services, and the opportunity for Digital Business
  • Excellent pursuit development and leadership skills
  • Exposure to and understanding of multiple delivery and commercial constructs
